Chief Operating Officer

Hello! My name is Leigh but the kiddos know me as Coach Sparkles! I am the Chief Operating Officer of Gym Station. I started my journey with Gym Station in 2016 and have had the privilege of holding many titles within the company. I started off as a lead dance coach in DFW, then became the Assistant Director, Dance Director, then Director of Operations and now Chief Operating Officer! My passion for teaching children started in highschool when I taught competitive dance teams. I went on to receive a BFA in dance from The University of North Texas and moved to Chicago to teach Hubbard Street's Youth Dance Program. Once I moved back to DFW and started working for Gym Station, I quickly found that my passion for teaching children had grown in so many ways! Getting to teach not only dance but gymnastics, sports and fitness to children has been an absolute joy! I get to share the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle with hundreds of children each week and that makes my job awesome!

Coach Skittles

I'm Sydney but your children know me as Coach Skittles! When I started with The Gym Station I got to Coach your kiddos for over two years and we had a blast together! Now as the Director of Operations in Houston, I love getting to go back to those classes to see how much your kids have grown and how much they've learned! Growing up I played softball for 13 years and later I went to college to study theatre and received my degree in Fine Arts. I have worked in childcare since 2019 and have developed such a passion for kids. I love that I get to fulfill my passion here at Gym Station!

Coach Sunflower

Hello! My name is Cecilia AKA Coach Sunflower. I am a very artistic gal. I enjoy dancing, painting and cooking delicious food. I'm also adventurous and enjoy hanging out with friends by spending time at the park, playing video games, or going out to eat. I started dancing when I was 4 years old and have spent the last 8 years teaching dance. I am trained in ballet and contemporary. I have also been working with kids since 2015 and I am very excited to be a part of the Gym Station team so that I can work with your kiddos every day!

Coach Giggles

Hi! My name is Dottie but the kiddos know me as Coach Giggles! I started dancing from the moment I could walk and have been involved with many sports such as volleyball, basketball, softball, track, and even cheerleading all throughout my years in school. I found my passion for dance growing up on a country western dance team where I was able to help teach the younger classes their routines. Helping teach every year helped me to grow relationships with the newer dancers and get to know all the joy and excitement they bring to the table. Finding that joy is what motivates me to be the best coach I can be and to ensure fun, music, and lots and lots of giggles!

Coach Unicorn

Hello! I’m Asante but your children know me as Coach Unicorn. I was born and raised in New York and I moved to Texas in 2012, where I attended college. I’ve graduated with my degree in electronics engineering, but I’ve always had a strong passion for the arts and playing sports. I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old and I am trained in all styles of dance. I was captain of the cheerleading team in high school, played softball, and was a member of the color guard in high school. I’ve trained under top choreographers for my entire life. I’ve also had the opportunity to dance on Broadway and for celebrities as a kid. I am very passionate about dance and sports. I can’t wait to meet you all and I am excited for the school year.

Hello! My name is Jada but your kiddos know me as Coach Fairy 🧚🏾‍♂️.  I was born & raised in Texas and I'm proud to say I am a Houstonian! I've always been an outgoing individual & always had love for dance. I am a Texas Southern University alumni & was Captain of my dance team. I can't wait to have fun with your kiddos and show them a FUN and MEMORABLE time with The Gym Station!

Coach Flash

Hola! I'm Frantz but your kiddos know me as Coach Flash. I was born and raised in Houston. I started playing sports at 5 years old. I grew up playing a variety of sports such as karate (black belt), swimming, flag football, soccer and I played basketball my first year of college. I consider myself an athlete and I love to exercise and live a healthy lifestyle. As much as I have a passion for sports and exercise, l also have a passion for children! My passion started when I went to my father's medical practice and saw how his young patients would come in scared, crying and he would dance, sing and make them laugh. I have been working with children for the past 10 years, as a VBS teacher, summer camps counselor, an assistant teacher in a Montessori school and doing several missionary trips to Thailand, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Hawaii in which I oversaw the kid's programs. All of that has equipped me with tools I can continue to use working with your children. Getting to teach sports and teaching children the importance of living a healthy lifestyle is a dream come true!

Coach Dino

Hi my name is Brendan but your kids know me as Coach Dino! I was born and raised in New York and followed my dads family to Houston in 2023. I started playing a variety of sports at 3 years old, and began Irish dancing at 6. Dance and sports have always been my passion and I hope to one day own an irish dance school. As a kid I mostly stuck with soccer and baseball, which I played until I was 16. I have been a competitive Irish dancer for 15 years at regional, national, and world championship level. I’m so excited to get to know all your kids and show them what a fun and memorable time we’ll have together!
