Chief Operating Officer
Hello! My name is Leigh but the kiddos know me as Coach Sparkles! I am the Chief Operating Officer of Gym Station. I started my journey with Gym Station in 2016 and have had the privilege of holding many titles within the company. I started off as a lead dance coach in DFW, then became the Assistant Director, Dance Director, then Director of Operations and now Chief Operating Officer! My passion for teaching children started in highschool when I taught competitive dance teams. I went on to receive a BFA in dance from The University of North Texas and moved to Chicago to teach Hubbard Street's Youth Dance Program. Once I moved back to DFW and started working for Gym Station, I quickly found that my passion for teaching children had grown in so many ways! Getting to teach not only dance but gymnastics, sports and fitness to children has been an absolute joy! I get to share the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle with hundreds of children each week and that makes my job awesome!Assistant Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations
Hey guys! My name is Josh but I'm better known as Coach Beans. I'm 25 years old and I absolutely love my job as Director of Operations here in Austin. I was born and raised in central Texas and don't plan on leaving any time soon. I've been crazy about sports and physical activity my entire life and it's truly an honor to be spreading that excitement to your kids! My number one goal at Gym Station is to create a fun, creative, and exciting atmosphere where your kids can learn the importance of health and exercise. Some of the things I like to do in my free time include golfing, playing pickle ball, and hanging out with friends. I can't wait to meet your children and teach them all kinds of fun ways to practice their skills!Assistant Director
Howdy! My name is Ressa, also known as Coach Sunshine! I am originally from Tennessee, but a proud Texas Aggie! I am a fairly new recruit to the Austin area. My earliest memory of my love of sports was when I was about 7 years old and I attended my first high School football game. The seats were filled and the crowd was so energetic! The lights made the cheerleaders and the players look like they were glowing! Seeing everyone so outwardly connected and excited about one thing, made them a community. It made me realize that there was something really special and important surrounding the game. Health and fitness has always been a priority in my life, and something I love to share with others. In my free time I like to play tennis, hike, and hang out with my family on our farm. I am so excited to be a part of the Gym Station team! My goal is to make every class memorable and every student feel excited and engaged!
