Coach Sparkles

Chief Operating Officer

Hello! My name is Leigh but the kiddos know me as Coach Sparkles! I am the Chief Operating Officer of Gym Station. I started my journey with Gym Station in 2016 and have had the privilege of holding many titles within the company. I started off as a lead dance coach in DFW, then became the Assistant Director, Dance Director, then Director of Operations and now Chief Operating Officer! My passion for teaching children started in highschool when I taught competitive dance teams. I went on to receive a BFA in dance from The University of North Texas and moved to Chicago to teach Hubbard Street's Youth Dance Program. Once I moved back to DFW and started working for Gym Station, I quickly found that my passion for teaching children had grown in so many ways! Getting to teach not only dance but gymnastics, sports and fitness to children has been an absolute joy! I get to share the importance of living a healthy active lifestyle with hundreds of children each week and that makes my job awesome!

Coach Beans

Assistant Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations

Hey guys! My name is Josh but I'm better known as Coach Beans. I'm 25 years old and I absolutely love my job as Director of Operations here in Austin. I was born and raised in central Texas and don't plan on leaving any time soon. I've been crazy about sports and physical activity my entire life and it's truly an honor to be spreading that excitement to your kids! My number one goal at Gym Station is to create a fun, creative, and exciting atmosphere where your kids can learn the importance of health and exercise. Some of the things I like to do in my free time include golfing, playing pickle ball, and hanging out with friends. I can't wait to meet your children and teach them all kinds of fun ways to practice their skills!

Coach Happy

Dance Director

Hi friends! I am Nadeen (Coach Happy), and I have been dancing through life since I was 7-years-old! I grew up competing in studio dance and was proud to serve as Lieutenant Colonel on my high school’s varsity dance team. In college, I continued to share my love of dance by teaching little ones jazz, tap, hip-hop, ballet, and contemporary dance. I earned my bachelor's degree in Family and Child Development from Texas State University and have spent over 10 amazing years in early childhood education as a teacher, instructional coach, and curriculum coordinator. When I’m not taking dance classes myself, I’m teaching grown-ups dance classes, crafting up something creative, spending time with my wonderful family, or spoiling my sassy cat, Rainbow! I’m SO excited to bring my love of movement and Child Development to The Gym Station! My goal is to create a fun, safe space where every child feels free to express themselves, build confidence, and discover just how amazing they are. Let’s dance, learn, and grow together!

Coach Bingo

What’s up guys it’s Coach Bingo! Better known as Nick. I was born and raised around Austin my whole life. I grew up playing every sport and by the time I got to high school, I played football, basketball and baseball for my HS team. After High School, I went to play baseball in college at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. When I’m not coaching, I’m always at sporting events or playing outside with my dogs. Loving sports, I grew to love coaching kids, as I coached many kids baseball camps. Being a good role model and putting smiles on kids faces goes a long way! Now, since I’ve moved back from college, Gym Station is the perfect place for me!! I love coaching and having fun with kiddos.

Coach Bumblebee

Hi! I’m Faith, also known as Coach Bumblebee. I’ve lived in Texas my whole life and moved to the Austin area about seven years ago. I grew up playing sports, so physical activity has always been a big part of my life. I’ve been around kids for much of my life, and I absolutely love working with them and helping them learn, grow, and have fun. Through engaging games and activities, my goal is to make every class feel like a fun adventure where kids can move, play, and build confidence. I am so excited to coach your kiddos!!

Coach Lizard

Hello!! My name is Sophia, and also known as coach Lizard. I’m from Oregon, and recently moved to Austin TX! I'm so excited to be here and coach these kiddo’s in Sports and Flippers! I did gymnastics myself for 5 years growing up, and competed for 2 of those years. I also participated in dance during high school for 2 years after. Coaching these classes brings me back to my childhood self a little bit, and allows me to have so much fun with it! Kids are so wonderful and they put a smile on my face every day. I want nothing more than to support these kiddos in every way possible and provide a positive experience! And for them to be themselves and feel good about fitness/sports!

Coach Peaches

Hi everyone! My name is Ella, but my dancers call me Coach Peaches! I’m originally from Canada and moved to Texas about a year and a half ago. I grew up as a competitive dancer and spent 16 years training and competing in a variety of styles, which sparked my love for movement, creativity, and performance. Throughout my dance journey, I’ve had the opportunity to teach and share that passion with children of all ages, and nothing brings me more joy than helping kids grow in confidence while having fun. Outside of dance, I’ve worked closely with children through nannying and as a lead toddler teacher, which has helped me create a positive, safe, and encouraging environment for every child I teach. My favorite part of coaching is watching little ones express themselves, try new things, and light up with excitement as they learn and grow. I’m so excited to dance, learn, and make amazing memories with your kiddos this season!

Coach Magic

Hi everyone! My name is Juniper, also known as Coach Magic. I grew up in Washington but have called Texas home for the past eight years. Growing up, I was a competitive gymnast and a dancer. I have been working with children my whole life, and most recently taught a high school dance/drill team in Dallas before moving down to Austin! My favorite thing about coaching is seeing kids express themselves creatively and discover new things. I am so excited to coach your kids and help them unlock all the magic that comes from dancing and moving their bodies!

Coach Pickles

Hello everyone, my name is Trinity or as your kiddos call me, Coach Pickles!  Much of my childhood consisted of playing competitive softball, and I dabbled in cheerleading and gymnastics. Softball was my primary sport that I dedicated 13 years of my life to and even continued to play at the collegiate level. I am now a competitive bodybuilder who has a continued passion for all things fitness related. I am finishing my bachelor’s of psychology with the long-term goal of becoming a Child Clinical Psychologist. I started coaching young athletes throughout my entire high-school career and fell in love with witnessing their confidence grow and athletic, leadership, and communication skills develop. I am elated to be a part of your child’s week and am committed to providing a supportive, positive, and engaging atmosphere where they can learn to enjoy moving their bodies!
